Thanks, tube lures work great, you just have to figure out what color they want that day and what action they feel like striking.

I don't know Juan, the eyes on that fish were pretty hazy to be a fresh catch.
I'll let The judges decide. :jester:
Glad to see you getting out there.
Herb everytime I cross a bridge there is more and more boats out there. Even the smaller bridges are slammed. FWC makes some money tomorrow.

Hopefully they will leave by Friday, because I would like to fish this weekend. If not I might go up North.

Take the pictures and submit it, more than likely if it got white eyes it will not be accepted as it is too old, but give it a try. People would think it best to take the pics at the site where you caught it right after it being caught to avoid controversy. Let the judge/s decide.
4. All entry photos of fish will have to be submitted with in 48 hours of catch. No oh I forgot to submit this one-Won't count. So I suggest you submit all of your catchs that hold some size. We will weed out the smaller and keep the biggest to count.

Good luck! :toast:

The fun part was trying to keep him still for the shot lol I was covered in beach sand.. missed 3 bigger jacks at my honey hole. That big ol grover of yours looks like it would be mighty tasty on the grill!

12" Grover, Had to wait to get home to snap the shot. The flash on my Phone was blinding the measuring tape so it wouldn't come out in the picture.

Nice grover, good eating. Snapper is definately my fav. Now all you need is a bruiser crevelle and a hungry cuda :reeling: . I'm logging in every day to see the results, it's great. Awsome catches. Best of luck to you and to all the other participants. Hopefully I'll be able to compete with you guys next time around. Gonna try and head out to the bridges this weekend and put in some time

Nice, that's what I'm talking about! I remember that report. Just keep at it and you'll definately snag one or more before Aug 15.

I'll submit my first report after tomorrow  ...hopefully. Best of luck to all of you.

Nelson, you're welcome man and that snapper was 11 and 3/4".....

I tell you guys that jack shoevally fought untill the very end and it ate 1/4 of my grunt as you all can see. Hardly ever seeing species but what a battle on spinning tackle. :jester:
