Freshwater canals
God I love the canals here. This was all at a floodgate they were stacked at the gate... Few other species around some gar and a few break offs I couldn't tell what they were.

Lol I have some with smiles, just hard to take pictures by yourself without a body strap or selfie stick and sometimes the better picture comes out with odd facial gestures lol. Believe me this is a new spot and in under six months has made me veryPaulieBoy wrote:I have to admit I have never seen someone so excited as you in those pics.
Yes, I noticed this spot had a few varieties and shapes. I can only cast short of the second gate, gotta imagine there's others on the 2nd and 3rd gates tooswordfish wrote:Cool, I see a couple different flavors of pea there. Good job!

Re: Freshwater canals
I hear mixed reviews about the majority of snapper creek canal but I have seen a lot of variety by the floodgate just off Kendall and 57th including peas, LMB, and snook/tarpon. The very west end of Kendall drive is also very good and lets just say that's how I get to my spot.snapperfanatic18 wrote:I'm in kendall
