went to the beach around 5pm. only brought one bait with me this time. paddled out about 180yds or more and dropped a big bonita to the bottom. came back to shore to wait for a hit. after about 40 minutes of waiting, the line goes crazy and something stripes line off the reel, then goes slack. im thinking this is odd. 
started reeling in more line and i feel powerful head shakes on the other end. hmmmm. started reeling more line until i beached the fish. turned out being a 2 footer. 
big bonita, and small shark caught is awful. but im not going to give up now.
