I usually catch all of my snapper just east of the first hut about 40 yrds out on either chunks of Bonita or the good old crushed grunts, missed some nice one's under the pier

I am headed out tonight anyone going, I'll be the one with the 12ft yellow gator glass rod 10ft star 6500 bait runner and pulling my trusy cart with cooler and tackle :driving:

I suggest a nice simple game with as little pieces as possible preferably one that is intended for ages 5 -7 . He really likes Barrel of Monkies or Chutes and Ladders.

Nice Mutton. I see you practicing for the big ones. :D

James. I told you to wear gloves when handling your bait. Your foul Skunk Ape stinch repels snapper in a 3 mile radius.

Chris, how long will James take this beating until he attack back? I see this crazy muthaf'ka perch at a bell tower sniping people at Anglins.

OH yeah, almost forget that one, off the tee, bottom bait, Tarpon hookup. The usual Tarpon thing, down to the middle hut and back. Now I get stupid. Middle of the tee he's straight up and down and I'm ready to pop him off. Now there are tourists all around me, ooh's and ahh's. I decide too show off a little and bring the fish up on his side a couple times so everyone can see the full length and snap a pic. He revives, decides to try and shoot under the tee but I'm ready and locked down, only the 5/0 circle breaks and 6 oz. shoots straight up in the air, lands smack on the top of my head. No it's OK folks I do this all the time, really I'm fine. After the crowd shuffles away I quickly remove my cap and start checking for blood and a lump on my dome. Moral of the story: the bigger your head, the easier it is to hit!

Thanks Keith. Didn't know about the 6oz on your head. That has to have hurt.
It's funny, but everytime I try to show off as well, something goes wrong. I guess it's just karma.

Went yesterday water was clear and baits scattered around during the morning, but came in thick in the afternoon. Nothing much being caught. Some googan caught a 25-30# cuda on a live runner. Saw 1 mac come up and a few yellowtails here and there.

Here's a pic of the googan and his Cuda...

Fished nighttime outgoing tide 6/22, big pilchards scattered but available. Caught a nice bluefish, missed a couple others, had a tasty 3 foot blacktip, lost on the flip. For much of the evening, each time a live pilchard (or fresh chunk) was cast, it was nailed within a few minutes, just couldn't get enough of those fat baits. Winds headed east, water with some color, tide out then flat, clear, and dead.

Yes that cuda is plenty big enough to be a carrier of cig. Any fish over say 5 lbs. that feeds on reef fish can carry it.
