:uplol: Funny bigger than any mackeral you have posted . Also got a few kingfish and bonita to 20 lbs on it. A dozen or so snook to upper slot and tarpon to 50 lbs also to its credit.
Dreaming the dream that one day I can be as good as some of the boatless pros and catch some 12 inch mangrove snapper.

I don't need pictures to prove it. Plenty of kingfish over 30 lbs don't need to take pictures of 20 lb fish. Unlike some here I don't celebrate ever fish will a picture book. Been fishing to long to get hyped up over everyday fish. I'll put my Cabo 20 up against whatever you want to fish for snook or kings.

FF is right. There is no need to blame the gear for lack of fish. I've caught plent of tarpon and slot snook on an Ice fishing setup. Ask Marcus and warren! From what I hear the cabos are sweet however I heard that they can rust if salt water stays on the top of the spool.

They may have had problems with theirs but mine has never let me down. Got it from Rob from Sharkeys and he had a ton of fish on it before I got it from him. They may have had a bad batch but not the one mine was in. I prefer using lighter gear now anyways for a better fight and my Cabo has performed and is my go to reel in a lot of circumstances .

they prob did get a bad batch cause ive heard nothing but good from them. and for the picture taking chris i feel you on that. i could care less about pics now unless its really a special fish for me. besides that i dont see the point. id rather look at other peoples catches.

To clarify if you still get hyped up over a 20 lb kingfish then more power to. I wish I still did . This is why I switched to lighttackle for the sport of it. These days I'll take 1 10 lb king on 10 braid vs 4 on 50 lb mono.

I agree SNAPPERKILLER I reread my comments and realized that they could be taken wrong. I just don't take a lot of pictures anymore esp. since my digital is broken.

I think the BS of "i catch too many fish to be taking pics" is just that BS. Even if you don't care you should take pics for the forum. Geez nothing is more boring than reading reports without pics. Only the new people are posting pics. Its sad. Plus it wouldn't hurt your credibility with people that don't know you or that you are not a goog (or are you?). I am just saying we need more pics.

I don't get excited about tarpon anymore but I still post pics.

How about you buy one for yourself like I did smart azz.  There are cheap waterproof ones that are like 150. That means all you would have to do is save your donut money for like a week.

:uplol: Listen here you overgrown meter maid, if only you could tear your jelly drenched sticky little fingers away from your favorite snack you would realize that I am not saying that you need to post to prove you catch fish. :jester: I’m sure your fans are just salivating to read every word and lame joke you post, but I am just saying that everyone, yourself included, should make an effort to post pics as it makes the forum more enjoyable. This is after all a fishing forum and as AMBASSADOR it should trouble you that the forum has devolved into nothing more than punch lines and silly arguments (like this one). Pics let everyone trapped at work or skunked to kind of live vicariously through those fishing and catching. Just my two cents. :thumleft:

And with that I gracefully bow out of this mind numbing discussion.
:salut:
