if you have a shovel (or even a rake), I would highly recommend using it...it sucks to actually dig your hands through a ton of wet sand while trying to find fresh sand fleas....you could always go cheap and buy frozen sand fleas at the pier but then where's the fun in that? lol

plenty of white bait around today....water was dirty, East wind....small snappers most of the morning, hope it picked up in the afternoon.....nice permit 305

depends on the lure, the action in which you means to retrieve it with, wind, etc...lots of factors to consider...tell us which lure it is, length, weight, etc.
