Parking sucks because there is none from 10pm to 6am. Haven't tried to park at the Solo on the Bay spot. Some people get dropped off. There was also some good action on the north jetty, jacks and tarpon had a big pod pinned on the rocks for while.

Believe me, I wanted to. The only reason that I didn't was that I was outnumbered at least 4:1. If you want to measure the odds by skin color it was more like 15:1... I usually don't make the best decisions either, so the fact that I let it slide meant things probably would have ended badly for me if I started something. Monday there were lots of Tarpon, but they weren't willing to hit the live mullet I kept floating over their heads. There were a lot of slack lines on the jetty lately. I think the mullet decided to migrate South by bus or airplane, cause they don't seem to be coming down the coast in the surf. It seems like they're pretty content with the canals they've been hiding in since Sandy. Maybe I should send them invitation letters, evites, or try them on Facebook... In September everyone was saying that the run wasn't even in full force yet, and thats when the bait stopped coming. Is this typical? I figured something was off based on what I've read, heard people say and see going on up north of Miami. I just moved here so I don't know exactly what to expect.
