I took my Mom and wife to long key bridge to wet a few lines. Armed with a few dozen of shrimp and fresh mullet. We got there as the tide was changing.

I went to Channel 2 yesterday 04/24/07 and there were plenty of pilchards swimming around. Nothing to report (as far as catches) except that it was a beautiful day. Good luck on friday.

Yes in the Day-Time. They showed up thick around 9am and stayed around all the time until I left at around 2pm. I was catching them as I was needing all through the morning.

had to go to Islamorada and stopped at the #2 on the way back, saw a guy bailing a fish I'm not familiar with ( heck after 30 yrs in the mid atlantic, moving to the Keys makes for a lot of unfamiliar...

Fished Long Key yesterday, fishing was relatively slow. Got 2 nice muttons, 20 and 22. The 22 was a pig, it had some serious shoulders and weighed out at almost 8#. Bait du jour was cut grunts. Also...
