I didn't catch it but the person who posted it claims it is a Bull shark.

a 4/0 with braid should be good u can get a lot more line with braid and its stronger but 50 lb 60 lb i dunno we just spooled a 6/0 with 200 lb braid i guess it all depends on wut size the shark is

I can answer the second part of the question. In terms of mono the 4/0 is a 30# class reel, the 6/0 and 9/0 are 50#...

I think it just depends on your particular situation. If they hit off the bottom, then a weight would be best. Stronger current=larger wt. If they hit a suspended bait, then a balloon, or water...

Yea go to Dania Pier and if you have a reel bigger then a 4/0 just take the reel off and slide it in your bag and and then sneak it on!...Thats what we do, Other then that your going to need a boat :)

I think it'll hold 1200+ yds, I could top it with 100# mono, and a stout 5'6 50-130 roller tip solid glass rod. Is this a good combo for about $250??

In my experience, cutt bait catches more fish more often, for obvious reasons— scent trail, softness ect.
I like to use a 12/0 mustad 7731 for most cutt bait, just run the sharp hook through the...

hey loyd!

i use a uni-to-uni knot on all my reels. just make sure you use more wraps on the lighter side. (ie. 6 wraps on the 80lb side and 4 wraps on the 100lb side).
