Arrived at 9:30 PM after visiting BPS and getting a new OM 12 heavy. Baited up with Mullet and made the first cast at 9:50PM. Put the rods in the holder and baited up a chicken righ with shrimp and put the rod in the holder. New OM starts bouncing and the reel begins to scream. After about 10 minutes this Bull is netted.

Each space in the grating is 4 inches wide.

Took a quick couple of pictures and lowered him back down to the water fo fight another day.

The brain is spinning and thinking this is going to be a hot night. And then the rain came. It rain off and on the entire night along with a howling wind of about 20 Knots. Not another bite on the OM but, the chicken rig kept me busy. 3 Silver Trout, 1 Whiting, 12 Croaker, and ^&% Catfish. All were good eating size nothing to write home about. After the rain got all the way inside me I called it quits and went home about 5AM this morning.

Nice big bruiser Redfish. :thumleft: Did you get that from the North side jetty or South side? I haven't been over there in a while. I may have to make a road trip soon.

Came from the North Jetty. That is the third one in that size range that I've caught since November. I have seen some Black Drum caught there also that would go close to 30 lbs.
