fishing ormond beach

Hi I new to this board and thought I give some insight to beach fishing this sight.
First off, fish the rips.( were the current is moving out from the beach)
I've have fished this area off and on for the last ten years.
mostly the first week of April .
I've caught pompano,redfish,whiting,flounder,and bluefish and etc.
use at least a 3oz. pyramid sinker or a spike sinker and go out as far as you can(I walk out til I'm chest up) to cast
shrimp or sandflies will do. but i think shrimp works best.
