Cherry Chicken Breast Catfish Bait Revealed

What do we need?

2 or 3 boneless skinless chicken breast.
10-12 packets of koolaid "cherry" NOT READY MIX!!
knife and a bowl

Ok take the breast and trim away any fat that may be left, and cut the breast into small pieces about the size of a 1/0 or 2/0 hook. Nickle size!

place all the pieces in a bowl and sprinkle 4 or 5 packets of koolaid over them. Make sure to cover it evenly. Place in fridge, come back 4 hours later and pour out what water has developed in the bowl. Then add 4 or 5 more packets of koolaid. Several hours later come back and pour off the water again.

The koolaid pulls the water out of the chicken and makes it tougher. Before you get ready to leave for your trip throw a couple more packages of koolaid in for safe measure.

The key is pouring off the water, it makes the chicken take more color and makes it tougher and a lot better bait as well.

Now How to fish cherry chicken breast.

Me personally I always flish it on a slip float rig. I have seen it fished on the bottom with some success but I have always done best using a slip float. I use a 1/0 or 2/0 hook and place 1 nickle size piece of chicken on first and then tip it off with a nightcrawler. DYNAMITE!!!

sounds like a good bait I usually use large shad fresh cut

when i use baits such as shad, i'm usually targeting bigger cats.

the baits i posted on the "how to" are best fished for cats in the 2-12# range. However I've seen each work on cats over 40#
