went up north with a buddy yesterday to fish for blacktips... ended up landing 2 both in the 50 pound range... right around 530 pm 7 surfers came all togather and came up to us and said we were in there spot and we needed to move... i told dude nicely "bro weve been here all day, were not going to move" he got all mouth and threatning us and this and that... mind you we had maybe 20 feet of the beach taken up and they decided to start surfing right on top of our lines... the 2 rods we had out they cut them both      ... those rigs arent cheap... i lost it, and started to let them know just how i felt.. and was ready to take down one or 2 of them.. long story short im glad there were 2 cops walking the wall when all this was going down because when words were exchanged, all hell would have broke loose... 7 vs 2... no telling what me and my buddy would have had to do to protect ourselves.... just goes to show that there are so many miles of beach and how ignorant people can be to just come right on top of you.

People nowadays are completely ignorant and have no respect for others. The other day I was trying to net a doz mullet and this guy came over (4 feet from me) and starting throwing bread for the seagulls. Asked him nicely to move down (plenty of room on the dock), but he just looked at me like I was retarded. When I started dropping F bombs, he asked my what my problem was and still kept throwing bread. I got my doz, and he almost got his eye lumped shut. How are people so ignorant??? Too bad you were so out numbered, those surfers deserved to get their asses handed to them.

After seeing people intentionally act like that time after time. I now understand why they go around shooting each other.

Ignorant imbecoles!! Once there were 2 dumb teens paddleboarding too close to anglins, i shouted multiple times to move away, they ignored me and i know they heard cause they would look at me, they finally got the message when I shot a 6oz pyramid sinker at them and landed a few feet from them

Chris, that's so childish! I can't believe you would intentionally go down the pier and just cast a sinker at them. I use a 6 oz popper with big trebbles on it. Scares the he11 out of em
Best part is, I'll cast from the location of the sign on the pier that say's STAY 300 FEET AWAY or something to that effect.
It's a bigger problem on the West coast. Guy's from a SoCal site are always going off about it. They pay for a license to fish, but the surfers who pay nothing, expect them to move.
