Ok so my inlaws rented a house right on the beach for a week so me and the misses head down to crash the party for a few days. The house was really nice and a bargain at only 3 million. I fished the afternoon with a ghost x rap and caught this beautiful girl. She measured 33 and 1/2 inches. I didn't have a camera so I ran up the beach to the house and got some pics.

Before there is any speculation she was released immediately and was not out of the water for more than 1 min. The house is litteraly on the beach.

The next day I decided to give anglins pier a try. There were a lot of nice tarpoon and cudas but I heard that they were catching legal muttons off the end so I was giving it a try from about 5:00pm to like 12:00am. All we caught were about 5 legal mangroves. I did see the funniest thing though. A little girl that was fishing caught a Knife. Yes a knife.

The next night my friend jimmy rolled by and we killed some time nightime surf fishing until morning to chase some more snook. We caught these on sand fleas at night.

After that the sea turtles were born. Green sea turtles to be exact.

We proceeded to fish the morning but the waves that day were horrible/great if you are a surfer or were boogie boarding. All in all a good time.

I know and I made it a point to only take one picture from behind and I took almost all the pictures from infront of them as the reason for no lights is that they get disoriented and don't go to sea. They think the light is the moon. Believe me all of them made it to the water. Our nest had no casualties when the researchers dug up the nest.
The researchers that were montering the nests said pictures are fine in the manner in which we did them. You should't leave any lights on though because the will head towards the light. Some rich people were having a party two houses over and they left all thier light on so the nest that was directly behind them, the majority died as the went toward thier back yard and not out to sea. They were fined 2500 at least that what the researcher said.
