Ft. Myers help!
I'm headed to Ft. Myers next week. First visit. Can anyone give me some places to try from shore in the area? Also, what types of fish will I find in that area this time of year? Thanks.

Re: Ft. Myers help!
I thought this website was to help out visiting fisherman. Or at least that's what my friend in Melbourne told me. I can't seem to get anyone to give me any. Isn't that why this website was created? Come on, help a guy out please.

There are lots of good places, but I would suggest Sanibel Island.

Sorry I got here so late but You can go to sanibel or captiva any of the causways in sanibel are great with shrimp for sheephead, snook, red drum, and jacks and lots lots of catfish if your bottom fishing. With whole mullet or lady fish u will experience some big action on tarpon and shark. If you hit captiva you could try blinds man pass and do some surf fishing. Dont get mad if you catch 10 catfish to 1 sheep head thats just how that coast is good luck and tight lines.
