new to fort myers

Just recently moved to N. Fort Myers from Tallahassee. I just noticed that there is not much fishing reports here in my area. Could someone help by pointing me on the right direction where to fish, not really asking for honey holes. Any info is greatly appreciated.

I have not fish Ft. Myers pier but I have heard people catching there. Where I have fished is Sanibel Island. The toll getting into the island I believe is $5-$7.00. There is a pier there which is small but produces fish. You have to put in your time but it is worth it. Walking the beach south of the pier and casting x-raps, jigs, or spoons will produce snook, macs, ladyfish, and etc.. We will be entering the summer months soon and Snook fishing there is awesome. If you can I would pm Snook Mook, he fishes there quite often and can point you in the right direction. Good luck.

thanks snookmaster69 i would try that place. I've been to bokeelia pier, caught a lot of small groves, small sheephead, dozens of spadefish, couple of jacks and spanish macks. but the pier master is a bit grumpy i guess.
