lovers key

Fished the last of the outgoing tide this morning from 5:30am to about 7am all the way out on the point...I landed 3 small snook on a chug bug before the lady fish came in thick, changed baits to the olive xrap and landed 7 trout in 45 minutes, 3 over 16inches, fishing stalled due to a small pod of dolphin showed up. Wind was about 10 -15 out of the SW

A nice little place to fish, will be heading back out there soon now the annual migration of Loud Mouthed snowbirds has headed north again. I have no problem sharing a good spot but a couple of weeks ago I was out there and not 20 minutes after I got there two muppets decided to park themselves about 8 feet away from me, they stood in the water and flashed lights all over the place and completly ruined a great morning. Everywhere I have ever gone to fish I have taken the time to learn about the local customs and not step on other peoples toes. It's not just the fishing, I spend some time as an amateur bird photographer and many times now I have been quietly observing a little bird or two in corkscrew reserve when the afforementioned Loud mouthed snowbird will clomp along the boardwalk and ask me in a nice loud voice " Have you seen anything good ?" agggh.
Sorry, had to vent.
