The trout bite is still on strong. Caught 12 between 16" and 22" mostly on topwater plus one little guy around 12 in. Missed several more on the topwater, even had some trout hit it five times. One doubleheader as well. Also caught a pinfish and a needlefish on topwater (weird), a redfish, a ladyfish on a plastic shrimp, and a jack on a baitbuster.
Woke up late so didn't start casting til around 7:50 and the bite was strong until 12ish. Tons of mullet and the trout are keyed on them, any kind of twitch bait and you will hit paydirt.
