Fished the intercoastal for a few hours this morning...second cast into a nice current rip with a Mirrodine ended up with a decent jack. After he dragged me around a bit, went back to the same spot, as soon as my lure hit the water it was blasted, ended up being a bigger jack that took me for a nice sleigh ride and pulled some good drag on my Sustain 3000. I would guess it went 12-15 lbs. Fished the mangroves to stay out of the wind, not much else, a couple of cudas and small jacks. Stopped at a beach to stretch my legs, and found a gull that was washed up that couldn't move. Turns out the poor guy had a sabiki wrapped all around his legs. Cut it out and got all the hooks out, hopefully he makes it. Couple pics...
