Attention all local bridge fisherman...
Attention all local bridge fisherman I'm going to be heading to the keys the week of July 4th. I'm going to be staying on Sugarloaf Key. Any helpful tips would be appreciated. Some local knowledge would be helpful. Hope to maybe even meet some of you guys while I'm down there. If you are ever in New Jersey I could offer helpful tips as well. Thanks in advance.

The bridges will vary by tide moon phase and target species. No Name is a good bridge for bait, snapper , cudas, and sharks. I have seen tarpon there all mooses but never tried to fish for them. It is hard to beat a 1/4 - 3/8 oz hook up jighead in white or pink with a live shrimp fished with the current for tarpon or a live bait freelined or on a popping cork. The sharks are everywhere down there just fish in the channels.
