Headed down with my friend mike determined to fish for snapper and snapper only!..Get to jacks to find out that theres no shrimp, so decide to stick with our pilchards we had caught on wednesday and 12 dozen ballys.

Hit the bridge at 5pm, catch some legal grovers we throw back and then hook up with 3 nice size ones(into the cooler) at 11 my buds rod stats zipping and after a good fight, this guy brings up a whopper of a cubera  24" inches (a fwc officer checked the cooler and first words that came out his mouth were "holy sh*t" lol)

pic doesnt do it justice at all!(mike with the fish)

later on catch a nice mutton at around 1am and decide to call it a day...btw, the cubera was hooked up on a nice size squid(go figure) 8)

Nice catch you sure that was a cubera and not a grover I got a 24 inch grover last trip I would have sworn was a cubera til I checked the mouth. With the spawn on the big grovers will be heating up.
