How much of what line for a Penn 9/0? What's on yours? Drag#

Braid? Mono? Dacron? Yds? How much drag is it capable of?

I managed to gig up the max drag, 23.5#. I would've thought it to be a bit more though.

I've got 300 yards of 100lb braid then 300 yds of 80 on top of it, I've had straight 50 before and wasn't really satisfied. Some guys hate power pro, some don't, but im taking off the 30 and filling it with more 80lb power pro

a if your fishing the beach you need as much line as you can get me myself i wouldnt put anything over 60
unless your going with braid but thats going to be a lil bit of a hit in the pocket

I like 50lb mono on both of mine, one is brand new one other used for a season, I have had 5, I will check drags on them this afternoon

What do you do to get the most possible pounds of drag out of a 9/0?
I care a lot more about the inside of the reel than how it looks on the outside.
Carbon fiber drag with Cal's reel grease?

got a brand new one this week, it buttoned down at 40lbs! my other two go around 28
