No luck at Sharkin past two weeks??
I have been trying to go sharkin for the past two weekends with no luck.I am new to it ,but have dome alot of research.I have the right gear and every thing needed to go,but cant get a hook up.I have been going off the beaches in broward at night.I have been useing cuda.but nothing.I think i cant get the bait out far enough since even when the surf is 2 or less i still cant get out on the john boat.I f anyone has any tips for a newbe please help..should i try somewhere else??Please help..thanks alot for anything that can be said...NICK C

You've got to get a kayak for droppin baits.

Freshsaltfisher,
You need to try and get the bait past the sand bar. I know up north you can even catch some nice Sharks between the wash and the sand bar ( the first gut ), but I would try and get the bait past the sand bar. Also, keep using those Cuda's man, that's my favorite bait. Very few times have I put out a FRESH Cuda and not got hit. Good luck.

I can olny get it out about as far as i can throe it.So thats not to far.I am useing a 12/0 so i cant cast it.I geuss i get this olny out about 10 or 20 feet.I have been going at night and has been a little rougher so the 12 foot john boat just fills up with water in a couple of waves.I am off friday so my sharking buddy and my self are going out for our third try on either thursday night of friday.If any one knows any advice it would be great.I will drive just about any where with in two or so hours,so let me know.
