good 10' shark rod

whats a good rod for sharks in the 9-10ft range one piece i'm going to put a 9/0 on it whats a goood one at a reasonable price

Crowder makes a good match for a 9/0. talk to mike (sharkman42) at black fin rods if you want something custom in the 9-10 ft range.

Are you going to be casting baits, or yaking them out? If you're not casting to the fish, why would you want such a long rod, and loose all that leverage? Not trying to be a wise azz, I just don't know.

if your in west plam lookign for soemthing liek that go to JR custom rods in jupiter, he should have stuff custom o nthe rack what you're looking for

Please explain to me how your going to cast a 9/0?

Unless your on a pier...even then length wont matter.
Except the longer the rod the more work for you.

i could cast a 6/0 wide easy i dont think a 9/0 would be much harder

for starter beach sharking... i recommend a 9/0 with a 8 ft crowder with modified aftco top and bottom heavy duty roller guides... fairly inexpensive, and will last a long time if taken care of... good luck CASTING a 9/0 with anything.... you need to start lookin for a yak or a canoe soon...

I used to "cast" my 6/0's and 9/0's and caught plenty of sharks right off the edge of the beach. I decided to invest in a cheap kayak and it has made all the difference in the world.

well i mean over hand i could probably get 20-25 yrds i'm fishing of the pier so most of the time i'll be swiming baits out
