So after snapping a $500 custom in the back of my truck I promised myself I would never pay to make a custom again so I decided to take up Rod Building. I started out by doing a couple of practice wraps on a old rod that I stripped and they came out pretty decent so I decided to do my first build. Everything came in from Mudhole in 2 days and I was really surprised because they expected delivery date was supposed to be a week from the date I ordered it so I was happy about that. I got everything and I was so excited so I tore open the box and started. There was supposed to be a fish decal but it was a weird one because it wasn't applied like most of them so i kind of messed it up.The rod just now needs to be epoxied. I tried doing a Chevron you guys can judge wether I succeeded or not. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

heading to the right direction, keep it up.
