local rod build shop

Can anyone recommend a shop that sells rod building supplies locally at reasonable prices? That's in Broward or Southern Palm Beach. Thanks.

There used to be a components shop named Fishing Rod Components of South Florida, but no longer. As far as a rod components shop in the tri county area at reasonable prices, that specializes primarily in components there aren't any. At high prices, I can think of Biscayne rods. There are various tackle shops that will sell some guides, to think of it, the guys at Boomerang have very nice blanks at reasonable and even discounted old Chaos US made Black Magic blanks, I,bought several 30-60 and 20-40 "Pier Rat" 10-foot blanks from Bob Browning at a real good price, very high quality, made in San Diego.

Try to speak to tho owner Bob Browning, they had some of the left over CHAOS stuff that they had bought at auction but it's been sometime... Last I checked he had left some 9 foot Black Magic 30 - 50 and old Gators 10 foot 80 - 130.
Hopefully they still do.
