Also take pictures of the massive amount of rods at the WORST TIME and explain to this person this is a new style of fishing.
Therefor new rules are called for.

Give examples like in South Carolina it is not uncommon to install 8-10 rod holders where they are ONLY used for trolleys. These holders are rented to individuals by the day or attached to yearly passes...In other words by a year pass get a trolley pass :O)

Or and this wouldn't be my first choice...a higher price to enter the T!

I am sure there are a few more ways to make changes to handle the problem.

If you want your T back your simply going to have to fight for it

Hell you could even go to a city commission meeting with this then we can see you on tv...lol

That fish couldn't even pull line! I got a reel I could put 80/100# mono on and do that.

went today from 6-10, a run of spanish macks came through, the gotchas started the blitz, ballyhoo was abundant before the hut, a monster king 20lbs was landed on the north corner, lots of macks all morning and not too crowded with rods. lots of wind and high waves crashing the pier

me mike tj and vincent stayed all night and almost died. at one point i had on a pair of sweatpants with shorts on over them, 2 jackets, a shirt sleeve buff over my face, and ghetto socks (pant legs pulled down over my feet and sandals on over them). and i was still cold

Hello,

I don't post often here, but I have been registered since earlier this year, and read the reports often.

I was out there at Deerfield today. Good day. The AM had many kings coming up. I ended up with 2 brought up. One caught freelining bait, the other on a trolley rig. Lost 2 also, one on a trolley rig (very big), one on another freelined bait.

It would be cool to catch up with some of you who go fishing out there, just don't be mad if I ask some newbie questions about fishing. I will be out there maybe tomorrow, definitely Thursday in the AM.

In regards to the T: It wouldn't be so bad if people used the right size weights, and while I only fish one rod, I don't agree that you should limit the number of trolley rigs. The pier should just enforce the 3 rod limit, and they should count a bait rod as a rod.
