Penn Reel Question

I came across several different Penn reels that my father had lying around his garage. And I also have purchased a couple of reels when I at a Flea Market recently. One of the reels purchased is a 4/0 and the other was attached to a rod that I liked but they wouldn't split the pair. So my questions are what are each of the below reels used for and what type of rod would be paired with them. Not to particular in rod brands but what kind i.e. boat, and what rating the rod i.e. line weight, action and so forth. Also are any of these reels made for casting? I normally only surf fish and thinking about maybe trying for small to medium size black tip sharks from the beach.

Rod
Penn Special Senator 6/0 SS-1360RW Line Range 40-60 lbs. 6'6" Boat Rod.
It has the aluminum butt end for hooking in to a fighting belt, wooden handle, aluminum reel seat, foam grip above the reel seat. 1st eye closest to reel is a large roller, then 3 normal eyes and the tip has a roller also. All of the eyes including the rollers need some serious cleaning or replaced.
The rod I purchased at a flea market and it was paired with the Penn 309 Level Wind reel but was thinking maybe the 4/0 reel would be better for this rod or should it be paired with a 6/0 reel.
I have cleaned, repaired and in the process of puting the 4/0 reel back together. Was thinking about doing the same to the other reels above if they can be used for my intensions or maybe just try to sell them. Any idea of what these reels are worth?

I have a Penn Long Beach 65 as well as a Silver Beach 99 that I fish. I got them from my dad also. When put on a medium action 7 foot rods either one makes a good boat, bridge and pier rod but not so good for casting with anything less than 2oz of lead. Load it with 30lb mono.

Check Ebay for prices. I think you will be sorely disappointed in what old reels sell for.
