Any of the builders on here have any experience with this blank? Looking to get a couple general purpose spinners build up (15lb mono), and like the idea of a composite blank with a light tip.

Are these too light in the tip? I'll be after yellowtail, kings, school dolphin etc.

Imho for ytails 12lb but for kings n dolphins 20 lb.....

Haha, im guessing you've broken one before?

and permitchaser, I agree, but I just prefer to fish 15 lb in most situations. These new mono lines break around 20+ lbs anyway, so they are up to the task.

This is a rod bulid by a great rod builder SALTYDAWG in California he stated they r nice little blanks ,I don't think he would have build it if they were BAD,then again if you don't watchu doing you could break a CALSTAR

Yea I did some research on them, but 95% of the reviews are from dudes fishing on the west coast, or fishing fluke/stripers on the east coast. Just seeing if any Florida builders have used them
